Hip Hop 2012 is a big year for viral rap sensation C.KHiD. Creating an indepedent entertainment career himself, the 'Dreamer' is set to work with film director Shawn Ouwinga to produce new rap videos bi-weekly on YouTube in the coming year. Topping 16 Million YouTube Views ( @CKHiD ) in 2011, he's also returning with new album "Black Box Dreams 6" and the new music video, "It Is What It Is".
"I'm blessed. I'm working hard to continue being blessed. I know the Hip Hop 2012 era will be good for me and hope people realize my style of music is not to be categorized. A new album of songs for 2012 should prove I am making new music not just Hip Hop," said C.KHiD of his new releases.
New music video, "It Is What It Is", was leaked yesterday on YouTube. C.KHiD gave fans following his video blog the early viewing to promote the new album release, Black Box Dreams 6. Setting a goal of 1000 views in 48 hours, it looks like the video is well on its way.
New rap album "Black Box Dreams 6," released today, December 24th on iTunes. Featuring 15 tracks, 14 of the listings are new songs. Unlike many music artists, the 'something like Hip Hop' performer, did not want to put any entertainment skits on the album. Fans are being given all music and a reminder to scream "C K H i D, Cannot Kill How I'm Dreaming". Watch the C.KHiD "It Is What It Is" music video below:
